Oumou Sangare is an incredible singer from Mali. What an amazing, powerful woman. I am fortunate to have seen her perform twice at Caramoor, and what a fantastic night, and the stage was filled with more talent than I can imagine. I was lucky enough to meet her afterwards and have her sign my CD.
