Photoblog: Jarabacoa

In the heart of the Dominican Republic lies the mountain town of Jarabacoa. My friends and I went for a weekend in December to relax and get out of the city.

We had exquisite dinner at Jamaca de Dios, a rotating restaurant. At night you can see the valley lit up as the top floor spins so you can enjoy the view from every angle. After diner, we went into town. There are a few clubs there and we were able to dance to some salsa, Merengue tipico, and dembow.

My friends and I also went to the river, la Confluencia, to take some photos, and traveled up the mountains for some great views.
